Behrendsgrund and Bullerbeeke are two neighbouring nature reserves on the edge of Bielefeld Sennestadt. They are only separated from each other by the A2 motorway. I love visiting both areas and regularly make interesting observations there. They are large wooded areas where you can lose yourself. The only disturbance is the noise of the motorway. You can observe typical forest dwellers such as: great spotted woodpeckers, black woodpeckers, hawfinches, nuthatches, jays, treecreepers, crested tits, long-tailed tits, marsh tits and pine tits. Once I even saw spruce crossbills peeling bark from trees. Unfortunately, they were a little too high up in the tree for my camera.

I noticed a certain curiosity among the goldcrests. Attracted by its call, I sat down cross-legged with the camera in front of my face and waited. After a while it came closer and looked at me curiously. The goldcrest was a little more shy and kept a much greater respectful distance.

Seit einigen Jahren begeistert mich die Fotografie. Weitere Infos kannst Du hier finden: about me
